Beach Rose

CULTURE. When I first saw the Beach Rose at an unsightly location in the Port of Rotterdam, I was surprised. How can a flower bloom so exuberantly in surroundings like these? I associate this extremely sturdy plant with its magenta coloured flowers with energy.

COLOUR EFFECT. Deep Magenta and Hot Magenta are iconic and extremely powerful colours. They are reminiscent of Valentino’s Pink PP collection and Luis Barragán’s architecture. When light touches the petals, a rose-coloured tint appears. These iconic pinks are subtly balanced by Pale Venetian Red and, together, they constitute a contemporary colour palette.
