Lindheimer’s Beeblossom
CULTURE. The pink, butterfly-shaped petals of the Beeblossoms sway on long stems attracting a myriad of buzzing insects. Pink is very visible to insects and therefore one of the most common flower colours. Many Roman languages include variations on the word ‘rose’ to indicate the colour pink: roze, rosa or roza.
COLOUR EFFECT. Looking at the colour proportion reveals that Pink Rose Light casts a yellow glow on the Off-White. The vivid Magenta has the opposite effect and leaves the Off-White lighter. The colour combination is transparent and luminous.
