Tobacco Plant
CULTURE. Flowers are seldomly green because it would render them indistinguishable from the leaves. Only a few flowers do not depend on insects for pollination and pollinate themselves. The Vernal Green tobacco flower is one of these exceptions.
COLOUR EFFECT. Green has a calming effect. It is considered neutral because it is situated between the extremes of blue and red on the colour wheel. This explains why the use of green is so popular in public government buildings. The Tobacco Flower’s calming Vernal Green has the colour of a fresh young leaf, and is both fragile and earthily enhanced by Apricot White.
