Dark Plum Poppy

CULTURE. Dark Plum Poppy is a rare poppy species and sports luxurious, deep purple colours. Historically, purple was very expensive and, as a result, came to symbolise status and power, and was worn by popes, kings and emperors.

COLOUR EFFECT. When examining the Dark Plum Poppy in sunlight, a luminous Purple Wine-coloured edge appears around its semi-translucent petals. The Velvet Black dot in the centre of the petal highlights Plum, which generates a deep, powerful colour range.
