Waxflower
CULTURE. The Waxflower owes its name to its beautifully shaped, dusted, grey-green leaves. The leaves at the end of the stem are almost blue. When looking more intensely I noticed a tiny purple bell between the blue leaves.
COLOUR EFFECT. The Waxflower’s various deep colours reflect the solar effect on pigments. The parts touched by the sun colour Violet and Pale Violet while the shaded parts remain Primary Yellow. The transitional zone is a mixture of yellow and purple that results in Manganese Violet and Spice Red.
