Field Poppy

CULTURE. Because poppy fields provided the backdrop for great battles, grieving soldiers found consolation in this flower. The Field Poppy is a symbol of resurrection, consolation and peace.

COLOUR EFFECT. The wrinkled, translucent petals of a Field Poppy are reminiscent of silk dresses wafting on the breeze. When sunrays touch this delicate flower, all of its colours light up. The warm Orange Red and Eosine Magenta stand out as dynamic and energetic. The Burnt Umber White has a tinge of red, which makes the static Burnt Umber and Veronese Green seem warm and balanced. Together, these colours create a warm feeling.
