Larkspur Camelliard
CULTURE. Purple was rare before the invention of chemical dyes. Natural pigments like the Tyrian purple made of snails was very expensive and only used for the painterly depiction of kings, queens and saints. This is why Larkspur, with its subtle nuances of purple, came to symbolise royalty.
COLOUR EFFECT. The cool Purple Middle, Purple Light and Purple Mist are light and dreamy. The warm Vert is reminiscent of a young beech leaf in spring and lends coherence to the whole. The colour harmony is fresh and energetic.
