Orange Welsh Poppy

CULTURE. The brightly coloured translucent petals of the Orange Welsh Poppy light up when sunrays touch this delicate flower. The flower blooms for a very short time and it wilts within minutes of picking. This is why it has become a symbol of sensitivity.

COLOUR EFFECT. The Orange Welsh Poppy’s dramatic Naples Orange is pleasing and joyful. But it’s a sensitive colour and therefore best viewed in full daylight or on screen. The Parakeet Green renders the colour combination modern and vibrant. This combination of green and orange was popular in the Art Nouveau movement.
